Community-acquired pneumonia caused by Streptococcus pneumoniae, Haemophilus influenzae, and Mycoplasma pneumoniae.

Pharyngitis, tonsillitis, and sinusitis caused by susceptible bacterial strains.

Acne vulgaris: Used as a long-term treatment to reduce acne lesions caused by Propionibacterium acnes.
