Description
Enoxaparin Sodium is a low molecular weight heparin (LMWH) used as an anticoagulant. It inhibits clot formation by enhancing the activity of antithrombin III, which in turn inactivates clotting factors, primarily factor Xa and, to a lesser extent, factor IIa (thrombin).
