Indications
Meropenem Injection is a broad-spectrum carbapenem antibiotic used for the treatment of severe bacterial infections, particularly those caused by multi-drug-resistant pathogens. Due to its potent activity against a wide range of Gram-positive, Gram-negative, and anaerobic bacteria, it is commonly used in critical and hospital-acquired infections. Key indications include:
Severe Intra-abdominal Infections
Effective in treating intra-abdominal infections such as peritonitis, appendicitis, and cholecystitis, especially those involving multi-drug-resistant Gram-negative and Gram-positive bacteria.

Respiratory Tract Infections
Indicated for the treatment of community-acquired pneumonia (CAP), hospital-acquired pneumonia (HAP), and ventilator-associated pneumonia (VAP), particularly when caused by Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Streptococcus pneumoniae, and Haemophilus influenzae.

Storage Conditions
